Below are the regulations and procedures for transferring to Universitas Islam Riau:
A. Regulations
The transferring student’s original university must be a Public University (PTN) or Private University (PTS) with a Study Program and Accreditation Status at least equivalent to the Study Program to be entered at UIR.
Transfer students may be admitted at a minimum of Semester 2 and a maximum of Semester 6, with a minimum GPA of 2.50 for Science (Exact Sciences) Study Programs and 2.75 for Social Sciences Study Programs
The transfer admission period is open annually from June 1 to August 31.
B. Procedure
Prospective transfer students must send an SMS to obtain a PMB account Username & Password in the following format: Type: DAFTAR UIR TRANSFER NOMOR_HP_PENGIRIM Send to:92962 Example: DAFTAR UIR TRANSFER 08xxx Requirements: a. The phone number typed must be the same as the number used to send the SMS. b. It must begin with 08 (without spaces or punctuation). c. Supported mobile operators: Telkomsel / Indosat. d. Ensure the phone number is active and has sufficient credit to send the SMS.
Prepare the documents to be uploaded in JPG/PNG/JPEG format with a maximum file size of 1 MB each: – Transfer letter from the Rector of the original university (if transferring Study Program/University) – Original Senior High School Diploma or equivalent (not a photocopy) (if transferring Study Program/University) – Academic transcript from the original university (if transferring Study Program/University) – National Identity Card – Certificate of Good Conduct from the Police or from the original university – Study Result Card (KHS) from Semester 1 through the most recent semester
Your data and documents will be verified by the Academic Division of the Directorate of Education and Learning.
After verification, prospective students will receive an SMS and WhatsApp message containing a Virtual Account (VA) Number for payment of the credit conversion fee in the amount of IDR 1,000,000
