Resignation Application Procedure

Procedures for requesting resignation from the Islamic University of Riau:

  1. Students fill out a letter of resignation from Riau Islamic University by completing the files approved by the study program by attaching the following requirements:
    a) Photocopy of Student ID Card;
    b) Photocopy of the latest Study Plan Card/Study Result Card;
    c) Photocopy of receipt for payment of Basic Education Development Contribution / Latest Single Tuition Fee Stage 1;
    d) Academic transcript;

  2. Students submit a letter of resignation from the Islamic University of Riau along with the required documents to the General Administration Bureau on the 2nd floor of the Rectorate building;

  3. The General Administration Bureau will process and forward the application letter to the Rector and Vice Rector I for disposition until the letter reaches the Legal and Ethics Agency;

  4. The Legal and Ethics Bureau will examine the resignation application files in accordance with the provisions in force at the Islamic University of Riau;

  5. Next, the Legal and Ethics Bureau will issue a Rector Decree regarding the resignation;

  6. After the Decree is issued, the Bureau of Law and Ethics will submit the Decree to the Directorate of Education and Learning;

  7. The resignation letter can be collected at the Directorate of Education and Learning – Academic Section (Oil and Gas Center Building) after receiving notification via WhatsApp stating that the letter has been completed and can be collected with an estimated 7-14 working days after the application is submitted;

  8. The Rector Decree is given to students in 2 copies (1 copy for the student and 1 copy to be submitted to the Faculty Administration)..
