The Directorate of Education and Learning website serves as an information resource for the academic community of the Islamic University of Riau and the public regarding various educational and learning policies, programs, and services at the university. Hopefully, this effort will further strengthen the quality of education and the competitiveness of graduates at the Islamic University of Riau.
The Directorate of Education and Learning is committed to realizing superior, innovative, and high-quality learning. Under the coordination of the Vice Rector I for Academic, Research, and Innovation, the Directorate of Education and Learning develops and develops learning standards, ensures effective and efficient learning implementation, enhances the capacity of study programs and faculty, assesses the feasibility of opening new study programs, and optimizes the utilization of academic resources.
The Directorate of Education and Learning oversees two divisions and one section, consisting of the Learning Activities Division, the Curriculum Development Division, and the Academic Administration Section.

Can someone else pick up the replacement KTM?

Replacement KTM must be collected directly by the student concerned for identity verification.

If I need my student ID card for academic purposes immediately, what should I do?

If you need official identification quickly before the newly printed replacement KTM is finished, you can apply for a Temporary KTM Certificate.

What is the maximum limit for taking academic leave?

The maximum number of academic leave periods during the study period is four semesters. Students may apply for and extend their academic leave period, subject to a maximum of two consecutive applications.

How do I print KHS and Transcript of Grades for internal campus purposes?

For internal campus needs (such as submitting a supervisor’s decree, or study program/faculty administration), KHS and Transcripts of Grades printed independently through SIKAD do not need to be legalized or stamped.

What documents will I receive from the campus after the withdrawal or transfer process is approved?

After your resignation or transfer request is approved, you will receive a Rector’s Decree (SK) and Academic Transcript.

Does changing data in SIKAD automatically change data in PDDikti?

No. The data in SIKAD and PDDikti are two different systems. Changes to basic data (such as Name, Place/Date of Birth, and NIK) in SIKAD require a special synchronization and reporting process by the campus PDDikti Operator to the central office. Therefore, you must submit a request to change your PDDikti data.

What official documents are accepted as a replacement for a lost or damaged original diploma?

A valid replacement document is a Certificate of Replacement of a Diploma. According to ministry regulations, a lost original diploma cannot be reprinted with the same serial number. However, a Certificate of Replacement of a Diploma has the same legal standing and respect as the original diploma.

What data can be corrected through PDDikti services?

Basic student data that can be corrected includes:

  • Full name
  • Population Identification Number
  • Student Identification Number
  • Place and Date of Birth
  • Mother’s Name
  • Gender
Why was my PDDikti data change application not approved (rejected)?
Your application was rejected due to differences in spelling or basic data between one supporting document and another. The PDDikti verification system requires all data on your ID card, family card, birth certificate, and diploma to be uniform and identical.

What is the difference between the Credit Acquisition and Credit Transfer categories in RPL?
  1. Credit Earning: Recognition of Non-Formal, Informal, and Work Experience Learning Achievements.
  2. Credit Transfer: Recognition of previous Formal Learning Achievements obtained through formal education in a Study Program at a previous Higher Education Institution (as evidenced by a Diploma and Transcript).
Who can apply for the RPL program?

This program is open to people who have work experience, have certain competency certifications, or have completed non-formal education and wish to obtain formal academic degree recognition.

How long does it take to study via the RPL route?

The study period will be much shorter. For undergraduate programs (S1), you can typically graduate in one and a half to three years, depending on how many credits you have earned from your previous experience.

Why are compulsory curriculum subjects mandatory?

This course is designed as a personality development course. Its goal is to strengthen students’ character values, morals, national awareness, and communication skills.

Can MKWK be removed or replaced with another course?

No, it’s not possible. The MKWK is a mandatory graduation requirement. Students must pass all of these compulsory courses to be able to take further prerequisite courses or register for the graduation ceremony.

What happens if I fail the MKWK course?

You must repeat the course in the following semester or in the intermediate semester (if implemented by the study program/faculty) so that your graduation requirements are met.
